Mrs. Felicia's Prayer for Tuesday, July 31, 2012

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for giving us Your Word in the Bible. Help me to read, and study it more. Lord, I not only want to hear what You have to say, but I also want to do the things You have instructed us to do in the Word of God. Give me Your grace to be obedient to the Word.

Lord, I also ask You to help me not to listen to things that I should not hear. Lord, give me grace to turn my eyes away from those things that hinder my growth in You. I know if I see and listen to Your Words, then I will be able to speak the things I need to say.

I ask this is the name of Jesus. Amen.

Mrs. Felicia's Prayer For Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Dear Heavenly Father:

We know that You hate war, but You also hate what evil men do to innocent men, women and children; therefore, wars come when good men stand against the evil of wicked men. May You grant all that fight in righteous causes Your grace, wisdom, strength and ability to overcome evil.

Lord, give all righteous rulers and leaders Your wisdom as they direct the course of war. Protect those who are on the battlefields fighting in these conflicts. Bless their families and give them comfort and faith in Your ability to protect and keep those who call upon You!

Lord, may we prevail in every righteous cause and stand united behind all those who must pursue the course of war to overcome evil.

I ask this in the name of Jesus, Your Son. Amen.

Mrs. Felicia's Prayer For Tuesday, July 10, 2012

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to You today and I do thank You for all of the wonderful advice You have recorded in the Bible. Help me to heed it and live by it, for I know that when I do, I will experience blessings in this life. Lord, help me not to get caught up in anything that is deceptive or that plays on the fleshly desires in my life. Give me discernment and wisdom in my monetary affairs.

Help me to put You first in my finances by giving tithes and offerings. I know then You will protect me from the snares of the devil who comes to rob, steal and kill. Thank You, Lord for Your provision today and help me to be sensitive as to how I can help others and the work of the gospel.

I ask this in the name of Jesus.   Amen.

Mrs. Felicia's Prayer For Monday, July 9, 2012

Dear Heavenly Father,

We desire to be like You so we are asking You to help us to be honest in all of our dealings with others. May we be concerned about the other party when we purchase something and not just look on what is always advantageous to us. Help us to overcome selfishness.

Lord, help us to control the things that we speak and speak things that are kind and edifying. Deliver us from anger and resentment and let us keep a forgiving attitude when others wrong us.

Lord, we are trusting You to vindicate us when others take advantage of us.

Lord, we just do not want to be the ones guilty of taking advantage of another. Help us to always be fair and honest in our dealings.

I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I thank You for Your kindness toward me in working with me to overcome the areas of my life that need more discipline. I do want a prayer life that is pleasing to You. Help me in this endeavor. Correct those areas in my life that would hinder me from spending more time with You. Grant me the grace to overcome any laziness that tempts me. Fill me with Your Spirit this day and let me be a blessing in this life to all I come in contact with.

I ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Mrs. Felicia's Prayer For Sunday, July 1, 2012

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the liberty we have in Christ. Help us not to judge one another in regard to the issue of drinking a little wine, but rather to be honest before You as to the issue in our own hearts in this regard.

May we be a good witness before those in the world. When we make our choices in this life, may they be pleasing to You and show love to those around us. You told us the highest law is the law of love. We are first to love You, and then, to love one another.

May we do this in word and deed. Keep us from temptation and sin and let our actions prove to the world that we are true Christians. Deliver those who are addicted to alcohol and who are in this snare of the devil.

I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
