Holy One, our hearts are mostly aware of the gifts for which we praised You yesterday. But some of us are in turmoil this morning. To You who made Great Lights -Your Mercy endureth forever. Father, we need Your light. Go before us as a Guiding Light today and behind us as a Strong Arm. Some are faced with a diagnosis we feared to hear from our physicians. Some are trying to survive in loveless marriages. Some of us feel trapped in abusive relationships. Some of us live daily knowing that ruptures in our family relationships leave us little room for gratitude or hope of peace. Some of us see no safe path ahead, and live in fear of the next step. Some of us are angry, and do not know how to approach You and talk it through. We long for peace of mind and release from the pain. . . . .
Oh, Lord, hear our prayer. In Jesus Name we give You Praise Amen.
