Good Morning Everyone,
Joshua 24: 14-25: Printed v. 15. Choose for yourselves this day
whom you will serve.... But as for me and my house, we will serve the
Lord.
Tomorrow, millions of people in the United States will cast their votes for
a long list of political leaders, including the President. After
months of campaign speeches, television ads, and debates, each voter has the
opportunity to say to one candidate, “I choose you.”
Not everyone’s favorite will win. But! Unlike a political election in which
the majority rules, each of us is given the opportunity to select
our personal leader each
day. In the spiritual election deep within our
hearts, our choice will stand no matter what others may
decide....
Joshua’s challenge is for all
Christians, although salvation is free for those who believe,
following Christ is the difficult choice we must make...”the way
of the Cross.” Today, at your work station, pause and
remember all of what God has done for you and I am sure like
Joshua, you will be inclined to serve Him.
Selah.
Everyone serves some kind of god. Whom will you choose to have
rule in your heart today? God Bless.
Our Loving Heavenly Father, Your Word
declares, “ that which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is Spirit.” Father prick our hearts so that we will
know that we have the Victory! We are
Victorious and not Victims.
Lord, quiet our minds and
teach us to face each day without fear as we place our hands in Yours... Lord,
give us Grace to settle our fears, casting all of our
cares and restlessness, all of our
nervousness, hurrying haste
that so often assails us, on You.
Father, this day plant in our hearts
Your Peace so that we “know” we are safe – no
matter how dark the nights ahead or how steep and
perilous the path, because You hold our
hand....
Holy One, teach us to trust Your Love, and dwell in
confidence because whether in life or death no harm can touch those who dwell in
Your Love...
Father, those who are anxious may they find their
peace and strength in You. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen... Amen.
“We are Experiencing A Skillful Leader(Jesus)!”
~Keeping You Close In Thoughts & Prayers~
