Dear Lord, I thank You for this day,

I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm
blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You
have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was
not pleasing to you.

I ask now for Your forgiveness. Please keep me safe from all danger and
harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of
gratitude. Let me make the best of each and every day to clear my mind
so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. And
give the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits
I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use
me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong
that I may help the weak....

Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others.

I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way.

I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood.

I pray for those who don't know You intimately.

I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe that God changes people and God changes
things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every
family member in their households. I pray for peace , love and joy in
their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met. I
pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your
hands for You to fight.

I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that
sees it.

Scripture warns us that everything you hear and see that paints pleasure as something worth our pursuit is not showing us the whole story. *Pleasure always promises more that it can deliver.(It never live up to what it can cost you). * Pleasure always produces temporary fulfillment.(It never last like we are led to believe) *Pleasure always proves to be in the long run boring and frustrating.  *Pleasure never leave us alone and it gets old.(It becomes routine and routines are boring)  Nothing in life will bring you as much genuine satisfaction as a Fixed Principle.  Better lose your place than lose your soul.  Selah...   It is essential that we retain our self - respect.  We cannot afford to Compromise...Selah.... Father, in the name of Jesus we commit ourselves to walk in your Word. Your Word is integrity itself. Your Word is steadfast, its sure, and eternal, and we can trust our life to its provisions. Holy Spirit, thank You for giving illumination to our mind.  Thank You for leading the way in all of our affairs in this life. You are our inward witness.  The eyes of our understanding is being enlightened and we declare that Wisdom is in our inward parts.  Father, Your Love is being perfected in us.  O Lord, You never gave up on Moses to lead your people. His human reasoning and understanding made him reluctant and indisposed to assume the role You offered him. His sense of reality was inadequate to comprehend the Power of Your presence to accomplish the purpose for which he was called. You persisted with him, widened his vision and perception, and nudged him to step beyond the limits of his human reason and understanding and believe that with Your help Greater things are always possible. Grant us those gifts of trust and faith today that we may not hold ourselves back, but give ourselves to You and become the worthy and willing servants that You call us be. Perseverance may be defined as, the act of persevering; persistency; steadfastness; constancy; continued pursuit of an aim or and enterprise; persistency in any thing undertaken. To all Graduates: "The King-Becoming Graces Are: Perseverance, Mercy, and Lowliness"...  Selah.  Whether in thought, art, invention, science or material progress, the price of the furrowed brow finds recompense in the Joy of "I have done this thing - the thing I set out to do!"  Special emphasis must be placed on efforts for self-improvement.  We get more from example than from precept; and we get more from experience than from both. The process is, desire, resolution, and determination.  If you have a will to do or to be, perseverance will see you through. No adage is truer than, "Procrastination is the thief of time." Depending on some one else, waiting on tomorrow, trusting to luck, have taken heavy toll, not only individually but collectively, for personal inefficiency is not only personal but collective Loss. Self-improvement means community improvement. The way for us to reform the world is for us to reform ourselves...Selah!

A federal judge in Texas ruled Thursday that the government cannot prohibit a Houston preacher from saying “Jesus Christ” while delivering an invocation at an upcoming Memorial Day ceremony to be held at the national cemetery in the city.

The Rev. Scott Rainey, the pastor at Living Word Church of the Nazerene, has given the invocation at the Houston National Cemetery for the last two years, each time ended the prayer with a reference to Jesus.

But a month ago, Arleen Ocasio, the director of the cemetery, asked to review Rainey's prayer before the ceremony this Monday, according to court papers. The pastor agreed, but four hours later, she responded with an email saying that “while it was very well written” she asked that it commemorate “veterans from all cultures and religious beliefs” -- in other words, not just those who believe in Jesus.

Rainey called Ocasio, and she told him that if he didn't change the prayer, he would not be allowed to deliver the Memorial Day remarks, Rainey said in his lawsuit against Ocasio. But it was a private event, and court papers pointed out that the department only objected to the parts of the speech deemed too religious.

Rainey then pleaded his case to the office of the secretary of Veteran Affairs, but the department told Rainey that the cemetery's policy was “viewpoint-neutral” and “appropriate,” according to court papers

The pastor also named the U.S. Veterans Affairs Department in the lawsuit to be allowed to refer to Jesus Christ at the invocation.

In a statement, Ocasio said the VA "cannot be exclusive at a ceremony meant to be inclusive for all our nation's veterans," the Associated Press reported. A phone message and email from FoxNews.com to Ocasio were not returned before this story was published.

But Judge Lynn N. Hughes sided with Rainey, ruling that censorship and religious discrimination violate the First Amendment.

"The government does not have the right to write its peoples' prayers," Kelly Shackelford, the CEO of the Liberty Institute, said. Liberty Institute defends First Amendment rights and defended the pastor in this case. "This is a great Memorial Day victory."

*When Someone's definition of life is to be rich. - When it's gone or when it does not do what you thought it woud do, then life for you is miserable.  *Someone's definition of life is to be well off. - When your well-off-ness leaves you worst off than you were when you weren't, then life for you is no longer life. *Someone's definition of life is to be physically fit. - When your health is no longer what it once was nor is it what you desire then life for you is mirerable. *Someone's definition of life is to be acclaimed. - When having your name acclaimed does not do for you what you expected it to do, (well)...Misery. * Someone's definition of life is to be "Well spoken" of. -When being spoken of in a complementary fashion doesn't bring your desired response, then life for you is no longer life:  The "ground rules" for you are found in the Word of God, So you will Know and Understand the Proper Response to our God Given Seasons.... Let us come forward and draw near with (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by the leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute (Trust and Confidence in His Power, Wisdom, and Goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water."   Many times we come before the Throne of Grace to obtain Mercy and Obtain Grace to Help and we are both Anxious and Depressed...  We pray, "Lord, come nearer to me, and comfort me, help me, but all too often, while we are calling, He is saying, "Let Me In, you have me Locked Out!"  Fear and Distrust locks the Lord out!"  Have you ever wondered why when you finished talking to God, you don't feel any difference???.....  Selah...  It's not that God is unwilling to answer you, but the door is locked from the "inside of you".  God does not force entry but waits patiently for you to Trust Him and open the door of your heart.  We all have a role in opening our hearts.  He wants us to choose between the things that lifts us up and the things that pulls us down.  What are the things that are pulling you down and the things you need to let go?

Proverbs 2: 1-2; 5: vs.1: My son, if you receive my words, and treasure my commandments within you, 2: So that you incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding. 5.Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.

 

Writing the Word on our hearts is a task that only God can do. The part we play in the process is that we must submit to Him and study so that we can better understand what has been written. Selah...  It is a fact that our views and values in life are shaped not as much by the things that we see but rather they are shaped by how we see things. Life is composed of Days, and these days as Good and Promising as they may start off can become painfully unpleasant.... *Paths that were so promising and perfect are now depleted and deficient. *Plans that were so precise and explicit can become faulty and vague. *Pillars that were so solid and sure may become unstable and shattering. No matter how Days can take a turn for what appears to be the worst, we can still get the best out of the worst days. There are so many things in life that all of us can classify as a Mystery,... But!  Even Life's Mysteries can be overcome with insight.... No matter what life brings our way the "Ground Rules" for dealing with each and every situation can be found in God's Word.    *Life is designed by God to be lived and not labeled. God Bless.

How many of us go through life like Solomon: Disgusted because the very things that we thought would bring meaning and joy to our lives have been a total disappointment. Proverbs 14: 13 - Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; and the end of that mirth is heaviness. Solomon makes it clear that there is nothing wrong with innocent fun, but the person who attempts to build any of their life on seeking pleasure is one who is doomed for Great disappointments. "Don't get caught up in the hype" when it comes to the misnomers about pleasure and life because all that pleasure can do for anyone is serve in a temporary capacity. In other words, pleasure is Not the Solution to any of life's problems Nor can it provide any Lasting easement. The best thing that pleasure can do is produce a Shallow form of entertainment. Pleasure has its Enticements... Pleasure has its own unique way of getting us Engaged, Entangled and finally Entrapped, by simply appealing to our desires! Pleasure always Presents  itself as something that you Can't afford to miss in life if you are really interested in having a happy life.....Don't be deceived! ! ! !   Just Be Blessed! ! !  Enjoy Your Week End Remembering The Cross Of Christ!

Father, Your Word says,"For All that is in the world," the lust of the Flesh, and the lust of the Eyes, and the Pride of life, is Not of the Father, But is of the world. But!  It's within our Reach if we would just open the Word of God.... "The Word of God can and will bless our lives like nothing else can."   Because of this An Enriching Wealth of Knowledge that has been provided for us from the Word of God for our Benefit, there is no reason why any believer should not have an Unconditional kind of Commitment...  Selah. This kind of Commitment brings Serenity *At times All of us worry about something* -  What would you give for just a minute of Peace??  If one continues to walk with God and yields his or her life over to the Word of God, they will have Great Peace. "A rich measure of well-being that lacks nothing!"  Real Peace is Not found in absence of conflicts, conditions, Or characters... Real Peace is Not found in the absence of trials, tragedies, nor tears...   But!  Real Peace is found in the Knowledge that regardless of what's going on in our lives that God is in Control.... *Real Peace is a Gift that gives us Confident Assurance under any circumstances...  John 14: 27- "Peace I Give unto you"  Phlip.4:6-7 -"If you want to Worry Less," Then - The solution is to "Pray More."  Selah.   ~God Bless~

 

Father, we lift before You these Your people who are New Creatures Predestined for Greatness. Jesus You have made unto us Wisdom, Righteousness, Sanctification, and Redemption, And we can do all things through Christ who Strengthens us. Lord, You are our Shepherd, and we do not want. Our God is a master designer!  Consider The Eye -What a Masterpiece!  The Ear - What a Masterpiece!  Design is written on every bud, branch, blossom, leaf, lily, rose, flower and blue bell.Did you ever place a snowflake under a microscope? Wow! You Know, There can be no design without a designer. Hebrews 3: 4: "Every house is builded by some man - He who Built All Things Is God!"  What is the meaning of all this you ask? "Behold, the Lord's hand is not shorten, that it cannot save; neither His ear heavy that it cannot hear:"  No matter how bad the Storm, we have to be as David in Psalms 18:6 In my distress, "I called upon the Lord!". Remember, to survive the storms of life one must be Anchored to the Rock of Ages. Be Willing to Reach and this will Qualify you to Receive A Hand Up!  Be Blessed.

 

Holy One, Your eyes are over the righteous, and Your ears are open to our prayers. We delight ourselves in You and Your Word, and You put Your desires within our heart and You bring them to pass. Are you wondering, "How did I ever get here?" Perhaps you have thought it many times as God continues to unfold His plan for your own spiritual training.  Don't Stress! !  Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. There is much to be learned  in the classroom of the desert and its experience of solitude with God. It is there that we grasp how Great God is and how dependent on Him we are... Amen?  In the wilderness we begin to discover the alternative to our Angry, Self - Protecting ways.  Remember Moses desert experience? The consequences of murdering the Egyptian taskmaster-"God" drove him there. In the training ground of the desert is where Moses met with God. Not only is God aware of what is needed for our spiritual development, He is capable of providing it.  Selah.....  Be Blessed.

Father, we believe in our heart and say with our mouth that this day Your Will is done in our life. In our desert experiences Lord, we will walk in a manner Worthy of You;  fully pleasing;  desiring to please You in all things. Therefore, we will  bear fruit in every good work. Jesus, Your Word declares, "You know the plans You have for us, Plans for our Welfare and not for evil, Plans to give us a future and a Hope."  Lord, our Hope is in You. You have made unto us Wisdom, and we single-mindedly walk in that wisdom expecting to Know what to do in every situation, and on top of every circumstance!  So, Father, we roll our work upon You, and You make our thoughts agreeable to Your Will, so that our plans are established and we will succeed. O Lord, Keep us Humble. Peace Be Still

If you are in a storm or feel like you are in a whirlwind.  This passage is for you Mark 4:35-41.  Life is filled with ups and downs, highs and lows.  Our good days generally out weigh our bad days, but our bad days may seem to be especially long and our good days just seem to come up a little shorter than we would like.

It is in these times that we have to remember that if not for those bad days we would have no way of knowing just how much we appreciate our good days.  When ever you feel that your finances, family, faith, fellowship, future, or your health and welfare are under attack or you feel challenged and discouraged.  This passage can be a powerful reminder of the most high GOD that is always available and always with you whether you since him  or not.  Know that no matter what the night may bring that there is joy in the mourning.  That's right the mourning!   Enjoy this word from the most high and true living GOD!

John 14: 1-6 - Jesus said... "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life, No one comes to the Father except through Me."  As People of the Lord we are called to follow in His Way; And though the world won't understand you, they will see "Him"(The Way) on Display... Selah.  We don't need to see the way if we are following "The One Who Is "The Way" Selah.  Just do it.  God Bless.

 

Father, in Jesus Name we Thank You for Your Promise that, "Those who Believe in You will do the things You do."  And (Believing is mandatory)...that they would do even Greater Things.... Lord Our Helper is the Spirit of Truth. We want to walk and remain in the "Way"   O God, You are the help and refuge of Your children; from everlasting to everlasting, You are our God. In our weakness, You are our strength. In our darkness, You are our light. In our sorrow, You are our comfort and peace. We cannot number Your blessings; we cannot Measure Your Love. For all Your Goodness and Mercy we Praise Your Holy Name. Fill  us with Your Grace that we ever Live as in Your Presence, Love the things You Love, and Serve You with the Service of our daily lives. In Jesus Name we give You Praise.  Amen. Amen.

³³These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

We do not have a promise of ease and but we can take joy in knowing that no matter what we are going through that our father in heaven has overcome the world and that in him we can have peace.

This is a great model for living and a great scripture for memory as a reminder of one's daily objective.

¹ I will extol the LORD at all times;
   his praise will always be on my lips.
² I will glory in the LORD;
   let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
³ Glorify the LORD with me;
   let us exalt his name together.
 ⁴ I sought the LORD, and he answered me;
   he delivered me from all my fears.
⁵ Those who look to him are radiant;
   their faces are never covered with shame.
⁶ This poor man called, and the LORD heard him;
   he saved him out of all his troubles.
⁷ The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him,
   and he delivers them.
 ⁸ Taste and see that the LORD is good;
   blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
⁹ Fear the LORD, you his holy people,
   for those who fear him lack nothing.

   but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing.

Psalm 121

This is a passage that I so enjoy.  It is one that we can turn to and have our spirits lifted knowing from whence our help comes from, because in the end we win and if we haven't won, it simply means that it is not over.  Selah

 ² My help comes from the LORD,
         Who made heaven and earth.

         He who keeps you will not slumber.

"That's My King" by Dr. SM Lockridge

I came across this message by Dr. SM Lockridge titled, "That's My King!" on last Sunday and it was so powerful and moving to me that I had to share with all that are open to receiving it.  The message itself, and the spoken words are incredible, but combined with the producer of the video and soundtrack made it even more touching for me. 

I do understand that worshiping GOD does not require a feeling but this video gives me a lift each and every time I watch or listen to it.  I must have replayed at least ten times before leaving for church and then I attempted to listen to it in the car on the way to church but the 4G connection just would not supported it for what ever reason.  Please click on the link below and enjoy; please feel free to let me and others know how much you enjoyed it.  Loving him and loving you!
